Step outside, the gardens are beautiful
One thing you’ll notice as soon as you step out of the car at Buckland Hall is how peaceful it is here. Step a little further and you’ll discover a lawn which sweeps down towards the River Usk which runs through a beautiful meadow.
Around the mansion you’ll find a bank of rhododendrons (spectacular in May) and a woodland walk and arboretum containing rare and unusual trees. We’ve got a ‘grandfather’ beech, Spanish chestnut, monkey puzzle tree and a glade where red cedars form a canopy large enough for 50 people to attend an outdoor wedding ceremony.
We’ve also got an ornamental lake with swans, ducks, coots and more wildlife.
