The unique feature of Buckland Hall is that it is a dedicated venue and
not a hotel. This makes it a phenomenal space that you can take over and
wholly devote to your event. Exclusive use creates a fantastic group dynamic
and allows you to achieve a spirit that is not possible in ordinary hotels.
We want you to feel you own the place. There are obviously some limitations,
but you have huge freedom to determine the mood, the schedule and the use
and layout of rooms.

Our role is to support your intentions and to provide the background
facility and service that allows you to fulfill the aspirations of
your event. Being family -run, we are able to offer heart-warming care,
efficiency and flexibility so that all of our guests enjoy themselves
to the utmost. We are capable of practically anything, so it is worth
trying us with your wildest ideas.
The extensive mansion facilities include a range of lounges, banquet,
function and social rooms to suit all needs. These rooms are exceptionally
large with windows looking out over the valley. The Grand Lounge
with its two massive log fires is the hub of the building.

To relax, there is a TV room, full-size snooker table and fitness equipment.
Fresh tea & coffee is freely available in the Library. A bar serving
fresh juices or alcoholic beverages is available to your request. And,
with over 60 acres of gardens, parkland and miles of country walks, you'll
find plenty of space in which to roam and unwind or to use for photographs.
Some of the specimen trees in the arboretum are over 400 years old. The
ornamental lake with its graceful swans is a particular haven of tranquility.

Buckland Hall can accommodate up to 68 people in 29 delightful bedrooms
all with en-suite facilities. But, as groups of up to 150 can be hosted
in the beautiful Grand Lounge, many clients utilise the numerous local
guest-houses to accommodate extra participants. For special celebrations,
there is our luxurious Bridal Suite with its exotic four-poster bed and
two-person whirlpool bath.

Buckland
Hall is set in the spectacular countryside of the Brecon Beacons National
Park, surrounded by mountains with vistas along the Usk Valley. It is
a sublime location for a residential venue. It is practically sorcery,
that such seclusion and pastoral beauty is so accessible. We are only
3 hours from central London by road or rail, 2 hours from Birmingham
and 1 hour from Cardiff.
The pleasure of food is crucial to every event and our chefs try to seduce
you with a gastronomic delight devised with your ideas and input. In
keeping with our health-conscious ethos, we keep to a wholly vegetarian
menu which is guaranteed to be mouth-watering for everyone, even those
less accustomed to vegetarian cuisine. We aim to use as much local and
organic produce as we can. Our own mountain spring provides all the water
for the building.
